Campaigning / Election Rules


You are welcomed to campaign for yourself! 

You can only start campaigning on Sunday, March 22nd after the candidates have officially been announced. Campaigning is permitted during the voting period, ending on Sunday, March 29th in the evening.

When campaigning please follow the rules* below:
  1. Be kind -There is a zero-tolerance for speaking negatively about any of the other candidates. 
  2. You can only campaign for yourself.
  3. Only campaign during the permitted window. 
*If any of these rules are violated, you will have a meeting with the CRO and depending on the severity, you may be at risk of being eliminated from the campaign.*
 
You are welcomed to use Facebook, Instagram, or another form of social media to campaign. You are also welcomed to hang posters in the Faculty by the elevators, just ensure they follow the poster policies and you are responsible for putting them up and taking them down. ​
